There were several nice solutions for this label project, each included a unique version of the little buzzy fella. I wanted to create a bee that had a calligraphy feel, so I started with the script Shelly Allegro and mirrored upper and lower case characters until something worked. I ended up with the upper case O for the wings, P for the head and lower case w for the body. Made no attempt to redraw this typographic solution, it worked just as it was and ended up being my favorite.
