Parents or caregivers were the theme for this hospital pediatric floor mural, every adult appears with an adolescent. Over 200 sketches were done to develop the geometric characters and flora, for the ocean and jungle themes. 175 linear feet, floor to ceiling, on both sides of the U shaped corridor, with themes mixed throughout. The design needed to work around elements like wall rails, PPE stations, hand sanitizers, emergency back-up lights, and many others.
Printed and installed with vinyl wrap, this entrance to the floor was the longest uninterrupted segment. These windows were covered with perforated one-way or privacy film, for the hard working crew that managed the front end, allowing privacy but not exclusion.
