This was the dedication poster for the first section of the Foothill Gold Line from downtown Los Angeles to Pasadena. A limited edition 20 x 24, 4-color litho on acid free archival paper. The main feature is the Santa Fe Arroyo Seco Bridge, built in 1896, which crosses the Pasadena freeway in Highland Park. Other features include downtown city hall, Disney Hall and Pasadena city hall. When we designed the website, the outsides or “skins” for each page, came from elements in this illustration.
This poster, also a limited edition litho, dedicated phase two of the Foothill Gold Line which extended Pasadena to Azusa. Features include the Queen Ann Cottage at the L.A. County Arboretum, the Santa Anita Racetrack, the historical train station in Monrovia, City of Hope, Miller Brewing Co., L.A. County Fairplex, University of La Verne, the Claremont Colleges and the citrus groves that historically adorned the foothill cities.
